Cadenhead’s 16- Here’s a treat for those of us that value rarity…This golden malt was distilled at Royal Brackla and is available only at Campbeltown in the UK. The whisky packs a serious punch and is very fruit forward. I found sweet spices mid taste and a deliciously lingering finish. Cadenhead’s claimes to be Scotland’s oldest independent bottler and I have no reason to doubt their historic expertise. With its cask strength, I found a few drop of water made a great improvement. If you have the means, get on the horn as bottling took place in 2024, you may score a winner. I love the handcrafted look of the graphics and the ultra warm and characterful flavors. It’s a unique 16 year old dandy and worth the effort , now get busy. Rated a 9 on the snob scale. Sláinte
